Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 23 April 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines how you may and may not use ProCul. It complements our Terms of Service.
1. What you must not do
- No spam. Do not submit RFQs with the intent of flooding suppliers with unsolicited commercial email, or creating multiple accounts to bypass free-tier limits.
- No unlawful procurement. Do not source goods or services prohibited under Saudi law or under international sanctions applicable to KSA (dual-use items, restricted technologies, controlled substances, weapons, laundered proceeds).
- No deceptive RFQs. Do not submit briefs you don't intend to procure against. Our market integrity depends on good-faith engagement with suppliers.
- No impersonation. Do not claim to represent an organization you aren't authorized to represent, or use a colleague's email without their consent.
- No reverse engineering. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer our AI prompts, scrape our pricing data, or extract proprietary supplier records beyond what your plan gives you access to.
- No malicious content. Do not upload files containing malware, attempt SQL injection, or inject prompts designed to manipulate our agents.
- No harassment. Supplier messages must be professional. Threats, abuse, or discriminatory language will result in immediate account suspension.
2. Rate limits & fair use
Free-tier: 3 RFQs/month, 6 suppliers/RFQ. Pro: unlimited RFQs, 20 suppliers/RFQ, 3,000 emails/day via Resend. Enterprise: custom. Abuse that exceeds fair-use thresholds (e.g. repeated bulk scraping, coordinated multi-account creation, sending patterns that trigger SPF/DKIM failures) will be throttled automatically and may lead to suspension.
3. Supplier protection
We operate follow-up cascades at 24h / 48h / 96h and stop automatically once a supplier replies. If a supplier explicitly requests to opt out, ProCul honours that immediately — their email will not appear in future matching pools for any buyer, and we will notify you when a supplier you're outreaching opts out.
4. AI-generated content accountability
Every message sent from ProCul is approved by you before transmission. You are responsible for reviewing AI-drafted emails and confirming they accurately represent your requirement. ProCul is not liable for the commercial, legal, or reputational consequences of content you approve.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe another ProCul user has violated this AUP — spamming you, impersonating, or similar — email abuse@procul.app. We acknowledge reports within 48 hours and investigate.
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in: warning, rate-limit throttling, feature suspension, account suspension, or permanent termination. Severity of response depends on severity and recurrence of violation. Where we suspect illegal activity, we cooperate with Saudi authorities per our Privacy Policy.
