Ali Asif

The operator behind ProCul. MBA at Kellogg. Five years of hands-on procurement before building the AI agent he wished existed.

“I spent years chasing supplier emails on behalf of buyers who had better things to do. ProCul is the system I wanted the whole time.”

I'm Ali Asif, founder of ProCul. I'm currently an MBA candidate at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, focused on entrepreneurship and technology strategy. Before Kellogg, I spent years inside procurement functions across aviation, industrial supply, and construction, watching senior buyers waste their week hand-drafting emails to a dozen suppliers and then chasing replies for a month.

That's not a workflow problem. That's a structural gap in how procurement actually happens in fast-moving economies. Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 demands a procurement layer that moves at the speed of the megaprojects (NEOM, The Red Sea, AMAALA, Riyadh Metro), not at the speed of a legacy catalog marketplace.

ProCul is my answer. An agentic system that drafts, sends, chases, and parses on the buyer's behalf, with Saudi-native market pricing built into the core. We're early, in private pilot today, and actively speaking with accelerators (SDAIA, Misk, Flat6Labs, KAUST TAQADAM) and Vision 2030 mega-project contractors who need procurement to stop being the critical path.

If you're a mid-market Saudi buyer, a supplier who wants to be found, an accelerator, a strategic investor, or just a fellow procurement nerd, let's talk.

A few things about me

Operational procurement experience

Led mid-market procurement across aviation, industrial supply, and construction categories. The same buyer-pain ProCul is built to solve.

Kingdom-committed

ProCul is Saudi-native by design, not a retrofit. Riyadh is where the product is built and where the first customers live.
