Cookie Policy
Last updated: 23 April 2026
ProCul uses cookies and similar browser technologies to operate procul.app. This page explains what we use, why, and how to control them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It can hold an identifier, a preference, or a session token. Cookies are per-domain — procul.app cannot read cookies set by another website.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Session cookies issued by Supabase Auth so you stay signed in. Without these the Service cannot function. Cannot be disabled.
- Preferences. Your UI choices — collapsed sidebar state, last-used RFQ category. Purely for your convenience.
- Analytics. Aggregated page-view counts and anonymized telemetry. Helps us prioritize features. You can disable these in your browser; see below.
- Marketing. We currently run none. If we introduce a retargeting pixel in the future, we will update this page and request consent.
3. Third-party cookies
Some features rely on third-party scripts which may set their own cookies:
- Supabase — session + refresh tokens. Strictly necessary.
- Vercel — infrastructure routing cookies and Speed-Insights. Anonymized.
- Payment processor (Pro tier) — fraud and 3DS verification cookies at checkout. Strictly necessary for transactions.
4. How to control cookies
- Your browser's settings let you accept, reject, or delete cookies on a per-domain basis. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all support this.
- Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to ProCul.
- We respect the
Do-Not-Trackheader: when set, we disable analytics cookies automatically.
5. Retention
- Session cookies: expire when you close your browser.
- Auth refresh token: 30 days of inactivity.
- Preference cookies: 12 months.
- Analytics cookies: 13 months maximum.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy. Material changes are notified on procul.app and, where material, emailed to account holders.
